January Update
I have a couple of things to go over before I get into the update patch notes.
- I'm going to aim to get a game update out at the end of each month with whatever changes I've made at the time. This may result in some updates having little changes as I'm starting Uni classes at the end of February, and therefore won't have much time to work on this.
- I'm going to try streaming my dev process on my YouTube channel in the next couple of days, so look out for that if you're interested.
Patch Notes
- Updated Pokémon abilities:
- Each Pokémon can have multiple options for their abilities, up to a max of 3.
- Each Pokémon will always have their default ability when first obtained.
- Use ability patches to cycle to the Pokémon's next ability.
- Added ability patch:
- See above for using ability patches.
- Added particle systems for weathers/terrains.
- Fixed Pidgey giving an excessive amount of XP.
- Fixed sensitivity in WebGL version.
- Sped up evolution animation.
- Fixed move selection UI becoming offset when scrolling.
- Added Routes/Towns up to Route 7.
Known Issues
- Some Trainers get confused and think they've battled you when they haven't. This update makes sure Gym Leaders stay on track, so this shouldn't soft lock you.
